Fiber Exploration Workshop
One of the delightful advantages of spinning your own yarn is that you get to get up close and personal with all the wonderful fibers that are becoming available. This series examines the unique properties of these fibers through different spinning and blending techniques, and at the same time, explores the techniques themselves by applying them to the featured fiber. Each class will focus on one fiber. This is a great class to expand your spinning skills and is open to both wheel and spindle spinners.
Saturday, November 17, 1-5 pm: Alpaca
Cost: $45 plus materials fee
Materials: Spinning wheel or spindle, lazy kate, and at least 3 bobbins, pen for labeling and taking notes. Optional: niddy noddy
